a year ago today...{EDITED...my links below now work}

I'm not sure I remember how I was feeling
or
who I was
or
what I was doing
~~
but
I do remember writing
as
words poured out of me so quickly
that I struggled to keep them contained in the same room with me
~~
I hadn't really been writing anything that I felt proud of
and
I wasn't even taking any of my own photos
instead
choosing to find some favorites on
flickr
~~
so today
as
an anniversary special
one more time
and
to remind all of my blog loves
that even if you think today isn't worth remembering
write about it
photograph it
and
post it
because
next year at this time
it just might be priceless to you

Happy Anniversary Beth ... I just can not seem to make it to the sites that you have given us the link to ... maybe it's just my system or me ... let me know if others have made it there. I don't want to miss one little thing!

The comment you end this post with really, really is so important for us all to keep in our conscientiousness each day. Too many learn this lesson through a terrible loss and reach back trying to remember, recreate, or capture and save things that have become fuzzy, out of context, jumbled or lost. And we often don't realize it's the little things that become most important.

I went back through the archives to read your post on July 4th, 2008. I was completely blown away by your writing on that day...you shared your soul and your heart and your human-ness. It was so tenderly beautiful.
Happy anniversary, Beautiful Beth ! I am so glad to know you !

Of course, as I am the Queen of The Universe, all links open corrrectly and cooperatively.

For me to find a true wonder of writing for my consideration. Like most every day when I come here...like I've come to rely upon.

My moment of, "Holy Freeholy, she did it again!" As I take an in breath and hold it before letting it out as a sigh.

You. Are. Amazing.

I savor your written words, like so many other blog friends who can capture a moment with the click of a button or tapping on the keyboard...why buy another magazine, EVER? I curl up right here and get carried away by such honest creativity. Thank you Beth for sharing.

Beth ... thank you ... visited again just now after midnight ... I'm home from the symphony & fireworks at the park with my son ... a night full of strong emotions and wonderful noise and happiness to chase my sadness away. The anniversary post and your words from one year ago moved me beyond words. I am so glad I stopped by again and can go to bed now with those words fresh on my mind. Sweet dreams!

It's so true. That's one of the beauties of this blogging - is being able to go back and look at where you came from. Happy Anniversary!!!

Beautiful story - coming-home-to-self as beloved. I have moments of this recognition, but it's lovely to see it so clearly in your recollection.

It will be priceless. I was just browsing through some of my year old posts. I remembered most of them but I came across a few I had forgotten. It was like meeting up with an old friend and stopping for an impromptu cup of coffee.

Hi again, Beth.

Came back to get the link and it was well worth it. Your writing seemed of another world and certainly drew me on. Wonderful that you recorded it!
